Technical requirement for the production of clear silver mirror

1.      The reflective silver coating shall be applied to the float glass by chemical process.

2.      The copper layer shall be applied on the top of silver layer to protect the silver layer against corrosion.

3.      Two coats of paint are applied on the top of copper layer, a base coat of paint with anti-corrosion effects and a covering coat of paint for protection against factors against mechanical stress.

4.      The color of the two coats of paint shall be different, for the purpose of being easy to check.

Thickness: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm

Standard Sizes: 1600x2200mm, 1830x2440mm, 2134x3300mm, 2134x3660mm

We can also supply customized sizes according to customers’ requirement.

We can also supply edge polished mirror according to customers’ demand.

The edges can be: polished flat edge, round edge, beveled edge.

Also we can drill holes on mirror for installation.

For beveled silver mirror, it is we cut big size sheet mirror according to order sizes, and then use beveling polishing machine to polish the beveled edges, then use washing machine to wash clean, then pack the finished mirror into crates.
