Colored silver mirror has the same technical requirement as clear silver mirror.

1.      The reflective silver coating shall be applied to the tinted float glass by chemical process.

2.      The copper layer shall be applied on the top of silver layer to protect the silver layer against corrosion.

3.      Two coats of paint are applied on the top of copper layer, a base coat of paint with anti-corrosion effects and a covering coat of paint for protection against factors against mechanical stress.

4.      The color of the two coats of paint shall be different, for the purpose of being easy to check.

The colors usually are: bronze, gray, green, blue etc.
